Untrue. Statoliners are flanged with a much more cupped brim than an Open Road. If you are going by ribbon treatment & edge binding, of course they are the same. Flanging is different & very distinguishable....

Custom hatter brand = Vintage Silhouettes, extremely well-made, exquisite attention to detail, reasonable price point, perfect fit

For a Fed4, I'd go 60 & let it come to my head instead of 59 & stretching.
I'm a dead on 61. Fed4 61 was spot on where a Campdraft 61 was a touch large but came to me.
Western hats with a shaped brim, slight pull down in front & back with sides curled up, are the reason for "set it on the crown" instructions.

My best fitting, best looking hats were purchased remote, so this may be your personal experience but not a general rule.
I wouldn't have bought more hats that way if it didn't yield desired results, especially at the price point.
