    Hello Stephen, Yes, I do remember these well. I actually have a dark brown crew neck WP from Outdoor Knitwear, which still does that colour. I would love a maroon crew neck - I wore one for a time in the 80s (and a v-neck) but it is long gone now. Unfortunately OKW don't seem to do maroon.

    As a matter of interest, do you chaps call your wool garments sweaters, jumpers or another name? I tend to use sweater or pullover - although I was brought up to call them jumpers. A friend calls them simply 'woollies' and I am influenced by him as well. So many names for one item of clothing.

    Very good choices. Thanks for the tip about the wool roll neck cardigan and the navy blue sub sweater - I did have one of these but grew out of it. Will replace when I have room in my wardrobe! Have the white equivalent and love it. Your PMs arrived safely. I have replied to them.
