Saw it at the late show last night & rather enjoyed it. As said above I went into it seeking to be entertained nod educated. I know some of the history & I know they took several liberties with history, but as an entertainment piece I thought it was good. I do agree however with some of the...
Who is 67?
Looks creepy! Let's go! :)

Clothing appears to be about mid 1950's. Anyway, it looks like it might be a good mind bender yet a tad predictable, but one never knows.
Cheers!

Who would have ever thought that those pair of sunglasses back when they first fell off the production line would have a price tag like that? Funky!
I saw a pair of Ray-Ban Gatsby's go for about $26 recently that were pretty darn close to that model that Johnny Depp wore. They're out...
Saw the Pilot episode tonight. It has a lot more Steampunk computer stuff in it. Pleanty of little easter eggs for those that are looking for them. There's even a vehicle used at the end to truck around Warehouse 13.
Cheers!

They had a program on last night on the History Channel that I recorded on the DVR. It was "Crime Wave: 18 months of Mayhem". Most folks that met Dillinger, except law inforcement, generally liked him and thought he was rather easy to get along with and didn't come off as an evil or shallow...
The Wizard of Oz this last weekend. It has been a long time. Forgot most of it since I saw it last as a kid around Thanksgiving time. Brings a whole new perspective to it.
Cheers!

From what I understand he will be playing the Catterpillar. Sounds about right for him. Christopher Lee is supposed to be the Jabberwock.
I'm looking forward to Matt Lucas' performance as Tweeldedee & Tweedledum & Stephan Fry (Wooster & Jeeves) as the Cheshire Cat.
Cheers!

Well, I won the off white HBT trousers. They should be here in about two weeks. The shirt I won should be here fairly soon. I'll be sure to post pics & comments when I have them all together.
Cheers!

Popped in The Thin Man the other night. Love their banter together. I love it when Nick is shooting balloons off of the Christmas tree, misses one, hits the window and then tucks the gun away and pretends to take a nap like nothing ever happened.
There is a book out called The Thin Man: Murder...
I wouldn't mind seeing another installment. As long as they don't pass the mantle on. Ford is the only Indy. Now if they decided to make the Young Indy adventures after this, well then, thats a whole different chestnut. At that point then they would have to scare up a young Ford look alike...
BT: Again, Thanks for the heads-up. I just recently put a bit on a pair that Chen is offering. They do look a lot like the Old Town/Tin House high waisted trousers. I may be able to pull a look like that off with a good navy sweater. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
I figure that if I'm not...
In a random search I found this site. Scroll to the bottom you'll see they have blanks for those DIY folks that have a little talent with wood that want to make their own style handle for a Mach 3.

As an update to my post back in 2005 I still use the Mach 3 blade system but I've moved on to products from The Art of Shaving. The stuff is a bit more expensive but it sure does go a long way and their badger brushes are the tops.
I use their shaving oil after I soften up the beard with a hot...
