You may want to even give the old ebay a try. I just picked these two up that I am going to have an Rx put into. The first pair shown I won for 20 clams and the second for 10.
These are circa 1945, 1/10 12KGF, B & L
Dated from November, 1947, 850 gold filled, no brand name offered...
I'd have to say that my favorite image of Douglas showcasing one of his hats it the shot of him in his Adventurebild Deluxe by Marc Kitter. In it he is wearing little round dark framed glasses. It had that early 1930's German scientist look to it.
Know which one I mean Herr Douglas? :)

Great looking poster Captain! I got to watch about an hour of it again while on the treadmill at the gym this evening. Yes, it has a bit of a disjointed feel to it at times but very enjoyable as a Leone story. Like I said, I'm going to have to add it to my collection.
Cheers!

This one with James Coburn was on tonight on AMC. Very typical Spaghetti Wester to be sure. Great hat film to boot. I may have to add this to my collection of films.
Cheers!

TCM Roller Skating night...
Did anybody happen catch this on TCM tonight? Very Dr. Seuss to be sure. The theme for TCM tonight was Roller Skates, so they played this followed by "It's Always Fair Weather" with Gene Kelly tap dancing in roller skates & then "Shall We Dance" with Fred Astaire &...
No listeners this year huh? Oh well, it got fantastic enough reviews that they will be bringing it back for next Christmas. They even had a small write up at http://bingcrosby.com/. Interesting little sight.

Hi Gang!
Did anybody here happen to catch the 12 days of Bing Crosby Radio on XM/SIRIUS? (If you happen to have either service). It was a load of fun. I think it would be great if they had a station of his regular shows throughout the rest of the year.
If you happened to catch these holiday...
If he wasn't speaking clearly, could he have said that you look "mensch"?
Mensch being a Yiddish term meaning someone to admire and emulate, someone of noble character.

I received a heads-up from Ken today. He says that he has "4 hats to go out by mon/tues, depending on how much I am in my office this weekend. Yes...this weekend. New job @ large lawfirm very intense right now." So, hopefully those that are waiting on their lids will be getting theirs soon...
Actuall I wasn't refering to men's movie dialogue, but real every day dialogue between men who have known eachother for a very long time. Conversations are very short & clipped and they can finish a sentence or a thought without saying so. Qualified.;)
Now, I got to see it this weekend and...
I found this one after reading the Grim Tales From Down Below. It is called Everafter, and it is the story of what happened to the Grimm Tales characters after their respective stories.

It was a series done in the mid 70's. Loved it.

Derek Jacobi did a fantastic job of it. I remember seeing it in the late 80's on PBS, it was on each Tuesday I think. It was my first introduction to him as an actor and I have enjoyed him ever since.

Regarding Vincent Price,
The Tomb of Ligeia (1964)
The Masque of the Red Death (1964) (We watched this one back in high school literature class after reading the book)
The Comedy of Terrors (1964) (He sure was busy this year. Altough this and the Raven were more comedy, they had all of the...
Sounds pretty cool C79. Slow is smooth, smooth is fast. :)
Finished the book recently. I'd say it does end abruptly, but I think that is what it needed. You have the buildup, the quick confrontation and then the end. It is moreso about the way people deal with given situations and other...
