Found these bad boys on ebay. I dig on the bridge treatment.
The other two frames I'll probably donate to those in need that can't afford eyeglass frames. If they are prescription maybe there is the odd chance that they can work for someone. [huh]
Cheers!

Then you'll most likely want a 46-48mm wide lens. That should put it around 1 3/4" to 2" wide. If they don't list the measurements on the ones that you are interested in, be sure to ask them to send you a measurement. I'm sure most of them will get an answer to you ASAP. I did see one listing...
They can be had for relatively cheap on ebay. You just have to ask questions as to the sizing of the lenses if they don't list it, so you don't get something too small for your face. You can easily find a perfect pair for $3.00 to $45. It all depends on how much you are willing to shell out and...
I managed to pick these up on ebay as well. Mainly for the sunglasses, but at least I have a couple of spares for parts if needed.
If nothing else I can also donate them to charity for folks in need.
Cheers!

I finally received this pair. Very nice indeed. Mother of pearl nose pads. Appears to have never been worn. The prescription also appears to be a generic magification for reading purposes, as they are pretty darn close to my current Rx.
The frame & arms are stamped "BSO". One of the brows is...
The Glen Miller Story with James Stewart & June Allyson.
Very well enjoyed. Even though the ending is known, it is still very sad.
It's really neat to see a very young and dark haired Harry Morgan in there as well. What a treat.
Cheers!

This moring they played "The Hurricane" with Orson Welles & Mary Astor. Nice way to pass an hour with. This week they are celebrating Orson Welles' birthday by playing his various radio programs. There was even an interview between Orson Welles & H.G. Wells.
Then they played "Yours Truely...
The Glen Miller glasses are very much like the ones I just purchased.
There are a slew of that particular style on ebay, and most of them can be had for under $15. Then all you have to do is put your husbands Rx in them and presto changeo Glen Miller. ;) You can get B&L, Shuron, American...
I've gotten a good ear full of all of those shows as well. Very enjoyable and fortunately it seems to make the day fly & my projects go by faster.
Right now Gunsmoke is on, got to listen to The Six Shooter with Jimmy Stewart this morning & several episodes of The Shadow with Orsen Wells.

I've been enjoying Radio Classics in the afternoon with such shows as The Whistler, Dimension X, The Shadow, The Green Hornet, Murder at Midnight and so on. They've been a load of fun to listen to and make the...
I enjoyed the film for the visuals. most of the areas that they filmed at I've been to. The part where they are up in the tree is on the Columbia River just west of Beacon Rock (that can be see in the background), the beach area is First Beach at La Push. So it is neat to see these areas. I have...
