So far the book has been pretty good. The dialogue in the trailer matches the book to be sure. Even the inflections that you read into it are played out in the trailer. I think this one may pan out to be a good western.
Cheers!

You bet! I even still have the graphic novel in my collection somewhere. Bought it back when this film came out one Sunday morning when my Pop & I were getting the Sunday paper and doughnuts. Saw it in the magazine rack and soaked it up. Then we saw the movie on tv and thought it was pretty good...
Now, altthough westerns haven't enjoyed great success in theaters once in a while some good ones pop up. Appaloosa may be one of these. It has a great cast to support the story. Might not be Oscar material, but I think it will entertain.
This one has a trailer link in it...
This one looks like it will be a fun little movie this up coming season.

Funny, I didn't even think of that when I took that shot. Good eye. Whenever we go to Disneyland & I'm wearing a different hat I try to get a shot of that skull with my hat on, which ever it may be. :) Who know's what it will be next.
Cheers!

Why, thank you R! :D
Would that be a certain straw we both like? ;) BTW, I saw your re-bash, looked great! :eusa_clap
Thanks Jack!:D I think Fedora Lover would enjoy the bamboo here. ;)

You know, it wasn't that awful. The temps were supposed to be about 83° in Anaheim, but I think it was more like 86° in the Parks with all of the asphalt and warm bodies there.
I only had to remove the hat a couple of time to wipe the sweat off of the brow. All in all very comfortable to wear...
Here is some interesting news about The Black Freighter.

Well that is just wrong on so many levels. Get our hopes up for the upcoming fall movie season and then push the carrot out of reach. Dang it! :rage:

Kudos again to Ken who has delivered another rock solid product. This one has to be the easiest of the three thus far. Very flexible yet stiff enough to hold it's shape well.
Where the Metropolitan is a little thicker and a tad more rigid right out of the box, the Legend is as soft as a hat is...
Here are a few more submitted for your approval.
I must say that I am very happy with this lid. Good Job Ken!! :eusa_clap :eusa_clap
This one will be going to Disneyland with me this weekend. I can't wait to show it off. :D :D :D
Cheers!
