You may want to keep an eye out for a Resistol Plains or Stetson Range. Both have 3" brims without the high crown. Both are raw edge however.

Just had a couple of Wolf Among Weeds IPA draft with a burger. Wolf Among Weeds is from Golden Road Brewery, Los Angeles. Surprising something this good comes from L.A.

Saves wear on the receiver, the bolt stop is a steel pin pushed through the receiver, by replacing it with nylon or rubber coated steel it cushions the bolt from slamming metal to metal. Also feels smoother.

They are a lot of fun and the modifications available for them are nearly endless. I have several that are set up differently. One modification I've done to all of them is a bolt buffer.

A couple more .22s, a Ruger 10-22, that I built for silhouette shooting. It has a kidd barrel, Boyd stock, hornet trigger, Red/green dot site, and the inside of the receiver and bolt have been polished. My 22/45 MK III is shown with it.

@EriCal, I sure enjoyed seeing your rifles! They are all beautiful, the Browning is a real treasure. I enjoy shooting .22s very much. Here are a couple of my favorites. The Henry Golden Boy was a retirement gift from my coworkers. The Ruger single six is the first handgun I ever bought.

Certainly a beautiful hat of interesting lineage. Thanks for posting such a gem! I used to have a good friend from Sofia.
