I don't know about giving a gift on the first date - It might put her off a bit. I speak from experience: My boyfriend and I had a very casual first date, and on our second date to a nice restaurant, he brought me a single rose. :)
I don't think it would have had the same effect if it was on...
It's because of South Park. They began the joke, and the suggestible youth of today caught on to it. It's a favourite joke of my blonde and tanned brother, especially since I'm the token redhead of the family.
Christina Hendricks sure helps our reputation, though ;)
G.G. was a shock rocker of the worst kind that died a junkie's death. Even the most hardcore Death Metal fans of today think he's trash. Nobody has tried to emulate him since (thank the lord) and I dearly hope nobody will.

Your winter scenes are absolutely breathtaking, they would make gorgeous prints for a wall!
I found it :) He was presenting the Canadian Duke of...
The most widely circulated explanation for this custom is that white clothing, particularly shoes, are not suitable for the winter months. It probably originated in the Southern United States, where fashion codes have been historically more strict. Wearing white after labour day used to be...
I took this one of my late dog that I thought came out really well:
And this one of a bumblebee:
I also took one of my boyfriend shaking hands with Prince Edward, but I can't find it anywhere!
