Thanks Daniele. My eyes, or my lights, don't see color so good in the morning anymore. I like the tie, but changed the pocket square to something with a bit more orange. The suit, you will be happy to know, was made in Italy, though of French design.
Thanks,
Michael

Yes, the blue on this one is always subtle. More midnight blue than blueberry. it came in it's original shipping case and looks to have had very little wear, so unless he had it redyed?
Thanks D. The suit is labeled Bond Designer Group and I would guess somewhere in the 70s. Probably poly in...
Under the best of lights my eyes see it more as black than blue. But in the sun my camera usually sees it as blue. With today's clouds, strictly charcoal. Wish the pants had been there when I picked up that jacket a month or two ago. Big shouldered Armani heyday there.
Thanks,
Michael
Ha ha, thanks Perry. I picked up these '60s LL Bean tattersall pants off of the costume rack at Goodwill the other day and figured that today's 80 degree temperatures would probably be my last opportunity of the season to try them out. The rest of it just kind of fell off the rack.
I take it...
38 to 42 depending.
Dang that's nice, Red. The ribbon looks sort of maroon in one photo and rust in the other. Which is it, or something else altogether?
Thanks,
Michael
Mirtillo is looking awfully black on this Borsalino Leo today.

It doesn't strike me as military looking, though the pleated double breast pockets certainly show up on military gear. How about this one from 1934?

Went for an hour long bicycle ride in the rain with this Filson Double Mac and some Kriegsmarine leather foul weather pants.

Thanks Stefan. I'm not too sure about that ribbon either, but it's sort of growing on me. I am a child of the era.
Thanks Stefan. Certainly one of my favorites. If I could come up with about 5 color variations of this one I'd be tempted to quit looking for more hats.
Thanks.
I decided I...
Thanks Red. Yes, you would want to be aware of where you are tipping that one out. Down the neck would not be good.
Great looking hat. Enjoy the remodeling. Ha ha.
