That's a mighty fine looking Whippet, Perry. I'm digging that tie too.
Thanks Red. I think the coat is from the 70s, but not sure. It was made in Milwaukee.
Thanks Perry. It is warm, and what matters today, windproof.
Very nice looking Dobbs, Red. A Twenty for $20 sounds like a good deal...
A cold and windy morning gives me the opportunity to put on this Milwaukee made shearling

Seems like it was only last week we were in the upper 80s with tornadoes around. Makes 33 with a 15 mph north wind seem a bit chill. Stetson 3X

Those pockets are pretty cool, and useful. It's quite a heavy twill with a wool tartan lining. So it's fairly useful from about 20 degrees to 50 degrees.
Thanks,
Michael
Ha ha you mean you don't have a tote of tweeds? I had to put them away when the Island shirts came out so I could use the hanging space. The Duplex was looking good on you today. I don't think any straw hat days are going show up here until some time next year.
Thanks,
Michael

Opened up a tote of tweed sport coats today. Need to start getting a few wrinkles out.

Thanks Red. It's being a good cool weather bicycling companion this fall. I think it will see a lot more wear than will be posted here.
Thanks Stefan. The staining on the ribbon is one of it's lesser problems. The sweat is rapidly nearing the point of total disintegration.
Sweet hat. I like...
Thanks Red.
Your Olcott was looking great today. I like that subtle homburg curve.
Thanks D. Great Borsa topped outfit for you today. I'm liking this cool weather so far.
Thanks,
Michael
My Swedish fur cap today for the bike ride.

It's already been getting a lot of play for that purpose this fall.
Have a great Saturday night,

Thanks Doug. It was a good day for hats and cold weather gear here.
Ha ha. I didn't realize until I got outside that I hadn't put my Iron Rangers on. So it was the Emu sheepskin boots that are currently my designated winter house boot. And they are certainly in the running for most...
Thanks Woodtroll. Cooler weather is definitely here.
Thanks Doug. Loved your OR yesterday. Inspired me to put one on today.

Super hat and coat pairing, Justin. Both are great finds.
Beautiful color and finish on this one, Daniele. Great outfit too. You are looking ready for the autumn season.

Hoocoodanode that my new coat from yesterday would find legitimate use already today with 40 degrees and wind gusting to 25 mph. Paired with a Champ

Thanks Stefan. It was a day of many hats and outfits by the end.
Thanks Moe. The coat is a Zero King. So it was made in West St Paul, Mn. I'm guessing early 50s manufacture. Wool gabardine with alpaca pile lining and mouton collar. Your homburg today was really magnificent. Monster hat...
Multi cap and hat day here today. Went for a ride with a Donegal tweed cap, then had to try on a new coat with the Knox Grafton.
