I am always amazed that, like when dealing with horses, when I'm buying hats the prices are always up but when I'm selling they are always down???? If I try & do both at same time, nothing worth buying & no buyers taking what I'm offering...
Interesting, especially the "soft OR" comment = "just received samples. the hats are being produced with materials and techniques from the good ole days. special furs, open crown stratoliners, SOFT open roads ....and the "stetsonian" in tawny with a wide hatband & binding."
Hat Jacks only stretch front & back. There are more expensive hat stretchers that stretch sides as well.
I use Hat Jacks to get regular oval modern hats to fit my LO shaped noggin....
Yep, Fed4's fit tighter than Campdrafts. Heritage & Imperial out of the box fit me the same but the Imperials seem to draw in more. I have 61's in both & the CD's go down to my ears until I crease & wear them.
Yes, you can get felt squares at Hobby Lobby, Michael's, or craft dept of Walmart. I get the white ones so no chance of dye bleeding if you sweat or caught in the rain. I cut the strips myself.
They are about 50 cents each.
