A fishy tale
I hear tell that they are going to do a remake of The Incredible Mr. Limpet. I suppose it would depend on who they could get to play Henry Limpet.
It is suppose to be a mis of live action & animation as well. Who knows, it might be interesting.
Cheers!

I carry a Waltham American that is dated from 1886 that I picked up on ebay for $46 (they said it didn't run, probably why no one bid on it, but about 5 minutes of minor tinkering got it running toot sweet). Size 18 so it is rather large but keeps fantastic time. Better than most of my newer...
This site has a great listing of The Strange Dr. Weird episodes. I think that you can even play a couple of them as a download.

Here is the section for The Mysterious Traveler...
Heavenly days Dinerman! You always manage to find some real gems no matter what it is. That one is what, about mid 1920's? Good find. :eusa_clap
Cheers!

And that is all that should be expected of you. JB, it sounds like you've got your head screwed on fairly straight so I'm sure you will do the right thing. Just remember you have friends here that fully understand.
Cheers!

Very well put avedwards!
No need to argue with friends and family. Don't give them the satisfaction, but maybe give your younger brothers a knowing smile now and again making them wonder what you know or are up to and keep them guessing. But again, don't let them lay a paw on your lids...
This week is the birth week of Maurice Tarplin, novelist & radio actor, although he is better known for the acting part. His best known role was as the narrator of The Mysterious Traveler, employing a voice once described as "eerily sardonic." He was also known for the voice as Dr. Weird on 'The...
I was listening to Radio Classics (XM164) today and the sponsor of a show called the "Strange Dr. Weird" was Adam Hats. They even had a bit of an ad at the beginning & end of the radio show. I thought it was pretty neat & just had to share.
Cheers!

JB, no matter what you do, never compromise yourself. Always be who you are not what others want. Because as soon as you become what they want, they will be happy for a short time but eventually they won't like it. Just be yourself in your hats & clothes that you enjoy. If your siblings want to...
Just an observation.
You know, it's funny. The more I read through these posts & see the phenomenon of "interventions". Be they for our fedoras or clothing in general. It got me thinking back. In the 50's through the 80's especially. The more radical looking stuff, like shaving ones head for...
Are those things still around? Gads! This subject came up about two years ago & I think the designer had posted here as well back then. They weren't received very well even then. Go figure.
Cheers!

I just shared this info with my wife. I'm quite sure I will be hearing an audible squeel of joy from across town in the next few moments. I'm pleased with this direction, should be really fun.
Cheers!
