This was mentioned in a hat thread, & it's has been a long time since I've actually seen this one. Enjoyed it as a kid. I may have to pick up the DVD. Good family film, even in this day & age. Who else enjoyed this one as a kid?
Cheers!

12 Bridges Gin
My wife just picked up three bottles of 12 Bridges Gin up on Portland, OR this weekend. She will be bringing it home tomorrow. I've been wanting to try this one out for a while now. She truly loves me.:)
I suppose I'll need to go out and get some Fever Tree tonic to go...
Oh, the combination is sheer heaven. You get the sweet of the chocolate enhanced by the salty of the bacon. You can find Chocolate bars with Bacon in it in specialty candy shops like Powell's Chocolates. I thought it odd at first, but I'm always willing to try any food at least once just to...
I'm not totally sure, to me it looks like a very well worn Panama.
It almost looks like he wore the same hat in the Reluctant Astronaut as well. Anyway, here are a couple of pics of what I think you're talking about to help refresh others memories...
You might try River Junction Trade Co.

Magnoli Clothiers has a double breasted tux vest, but I sure he would be more than willing to make something to your specifications...
Well, I finally got around to watching it on DVD. I have to say I really enjoyed it, and I hope that they do make a series of films with Professor James Moriarty either in the foreground or in the shadows like this one. I rather enjoyed the Guy Ritchie treatment of the look & story. I always...
Here are a couple that Johnny Depp seems to do well.
With this one you'll have to imagine the suit as a navy pinstripe & the shoes as B&W. It works very well actually as a stylish casual look.

Another I've been hearing about is True Grit, with Jeff Bridges as Rooster Cogburn. It is supposed to be told from the girls point of view in this version. Might be interesting as I've never been disappointed in what Jeff Bridges puts out.
Cheers!

Little Big Man (1970) this morning, The Four Feathers (1939) this afternoon. I think it was one of the rare color films of the era. Enjoyed it better than the modern one put out in 2002.
Cheers!

Imagine what that man was privy to all those years. Seemed like a interesting life even as a butler.
Cheers!

His smooth voice will be missed. I loved him in Scrooged. The man did a boat load of tv shows to be sure.
Cheers!
