I suspect it's the "stiffness" of the Steerhide. It is much to warm here now to wear any leather for long, so as you are able to break-it in a bit it should really help. That said, the last Steerhide & FQHH jackets I recieved were very stiff overall. So this may not be unexpected for the new...
^^ Cool yeah I just saw those. It's a nice, clean look here - except for those unfortunate snaps staring straight up into space that look really out of place at this point.
@iknowleather - Dena have you seen this thread?
I'm sure Schott could help too, but Dean is top-notch as well. Not sure if Schott does repairs and all, i know that Vanson still does. Do you have the jacket yet? Photos?
Yeah, this is a really close one for me. Just so close on the fit. Really would rather wait & order a 44L direct - but funds presently are not in line for that action.

Really awesome combination here! I really like how all the colors work together as well. I am not usually that good with the color-match esp. when fades are involved.
If you ike the welding jacket concept but are put out a little by the price of this one, try something like on the link...
Really awesome!!! :) I also captured your post # and post as it's "immortilized" as well for you below. This is indeed an excellent community! If your wife ever sells here work, I may be interested. Huge pup fan here! :)

Suprisingly nice Johnson Leather from Tony, originally...
^^Marc - nicely asked. As I reviewed the thread, here was the OP's original request to Thedi:
So originally he asked for Coal Grey -- and after his statement later he wound up with Mahogany. :)
Sounds/looks really cool to me!
:) So as I read and re-read this thread, looks like this specific jacket has sold 3 or 4 times since Janurary, 2021. And folks think we "dont have any problems" here in the outerwear section of FL! :)
