Good point here Carlos! If you are not comforatble with higher-rise jeans, then add your 1" to the jacket body.
Looks very good here regardless and maybe buying the fit jacket is the right option (jeans are much cheaper & do not require a waiting period to buy compared to a new Aero).
Here we have Example #1 of how Not to measure Pit to PIt.
The ruler is several CM extended past the "Pit end" on the "0" end
The jacket is not fully zipped and clearly extended out
They are using a flat, non-flexible measuring device
Beautiful piece there. Really like the simple, yet exceptionally complex style of this jacket. Could be a go anywhere go-to jacket really. Sad they are essentially "gone" if I understand that correctly?
^^ those are my measurements. It's sad to me to let this one go as the fit is 100% perfect. So perhaps I'll talk myself out of it. :) It's just spending too much time hung up and put away, want to see it be worn & enjoyed.

Honestly, in this season the used market is a "buyer's" market. There are many options on ebay/grailed etc for pennies on the dollar just now if you keep you eye open, ask good quesitons, and know your dimensions...
Some lower tier but still Made in US Options: Hillside, Fox Creek, TRD Leathers,
Also Gibson & Barnes but they seem to be slowly winding down.
Rest have been very well covered above...
