I think they would save a bit of gravel rash on your back or front, I see too many people riding in shorts and flip flops with singlets etc...it's a dangerous game for sure. Plenty of spills on YouTube of the singlet brigade coming undone...nasty business
They are beautiful! I really agonised over getting a pair in rough out. I didn't know how they would cope with staining, and wondered if the rough out would become bald or smooth over time. I really like those boots mate. Great purchase.

That's interesting. I lived in Sydney for 6 years, I used to wear jackets regularly. I'm originally from canberra, and am quite resilient when it comes to the cold. While I never froze in Sydney Town, I certainly had plenty of opportunities to wear a jacket
I like that length. I've been stung with a couple of jackets that were just an inch and a bit short, and I was never comfortable in them, felt like I was wearing someone else's clothes. Rather a tad long than a bit short. I like it.
