Yup. I have super thin, straight, fine hair, too. On days when I go nowhere and don't set it I look like an 80s Motley Crue groupie lol But I set it about 90% of the time so it's all good. Really -- it's not that difficult or time consuming!
To do mid 30s hair you're going to HAVE to put in the effort. Hair should be to the neck and layered. Bangs should be grown out. The best way to achieve mid 30s style curls is by wet setting it the night before, making a perfect part, leaving the crown flat, and pincurling and/or sponge...
I've always been kind of indifferent to her; just never got the hype and never paid much attention to her. I watched some interviews on youtube yesterday and she does know what she's talking about, but she manages to make it seem so bland :( A monotone voice and no change in facial expression...

The oldest I wear is makeup from the 80s that I STILL HAVE (eyeshadows!) I have no problems/irritations with it, but I still wouldn't wear 30s makeup. I wouldn't trust it. I'd hoard it, though.

I have Simplicity serger. I'm wearing this dress today and I feel like it's "neater" and better looking than my "pinked" dresses. I love my serger....I think it's kinda FUN to use. My friend swears serging is the most "boring" part of making a dress! Perhaps that novelty...
I pincurl my whole head every night after my shower and it takes about 20 minutes. I then sleep on them and then it takes about 5 minutes to style in the morning.
