    Brown FQHH Highwayman for Sale

I think the animals whose hide makes that jacket are already dead. Wear the jacket so the hides are well used. It looks good on you and will last long enough to prevent you from getting a lot of made-in-China-and-soon-to-be-discarded mass market jackets over the years. I'm always amused by...

    real mccoy jacket

So cute to see a German guy criticizing Americans for being fat... http://www.dw-world.de/dw/article/0,,2449356,00.html Looking forward to seeing the Real McCoy jacket here. We don't get to see them often.

    Post New Hats Here!

I defer to the keeper of the Fort Knox of hats... I was also surprised not to see that corrugated front on the sweat.

    Post New Hats Here!

My vote is for 1950s, based on the liner. For whatever reason, I associate that logo with the late 50s-60s. Note also that, in an odd departure for Borsalino (that you would not see in the 30s) the sweat is reeded. Very nice hat, though. I'd love one like it.

    Recommendations for warm winter hats/caps.

How about a good quality fur felt fedora? Work with almost anything, keep you warm, and don't look ugly.

Modern 1920's-40's era style wool overcoat?

Now now. A recent trip to REI and North Face outlet was very interesting. A lot of these outdoors manufacturers are starting to make vintage-inspired items. One women's jacket by Mountain Hardware had a back belt and other vintage features. If it keeps him alive in -20F, it's not all bad...

Ebay Hats: Victories, Defeats, Gripes & Items of Interest

As it happens, Brad, I have one, with the original explanation. Although this one is far too small for me, I'm not sure it's meant to be a kid's hat. No idea why you think it's not a man's hat. Why would they put a man on the pin for a woman's hat? BTW, this is not a raw hat body. It...

Let's hope not, since it really says, "Streets of Paris". Good luck on the 100.

Wow, Soren, I didn't even recognize you (and not because of the absence of the Irvin). That's a great look. I have three berets, one gift and two inherited, and they do see use.

    Schatt & Morgan pocketknife. Titusville,PA

I love vintage and quality pocket knives and have a few. But I have no idea what they are worth and no familiarity with the brands. This isn't a knife forum, after all. I suggest adding a bunch more information with listings on the assumption that we like quality and style but don't know...

My trip to Alessandria: The Borsalino Museum...

Why delete them? These would be great to leave up. Aside from their value, it sure is frustrating to come across a thread with broken images... Great pictures.

Trench Coat - the 'Ultimate' Thread!

Whoops, I was shocked by the price but didn't set out to be unfriendly. As Dinerman points out in a more substantial manner, that's pricey. It also appears to be a women's coat, and you might want to note that. The fedoras I recall seeing in your Etsy store were not of the style favored here...

HOLY GRAIL? /What fedoras are you pining for?

Don't think I've forgotten... But yes, you're right and I don't begrudge you your very manageable and sensible collection of very fine hats!

Trench Coat - the 'Ultimate' Thread!

$1,899.99? Really? No comment on the "fedoras". The link to this site doesn't work for me, BTW.
