The package has arrived at the Buyee warehouse, package weight is 1,960kg which sounds reasonable.
I noticed you can now ask for a pic to be taken of the item for 300 yen, i just did that to be safe...
Let me help, here are fit pics of my size 44 (i usually wear a 42 in that model but can get away with a size up, it allows me to layer more).
If it sells i'll take my usual 10% modelling fee... Good luck!
Seriously though, this is a super comfy jacket and the bling is actually not that...
I took a risk and bid...
Won for around 250$, i thought at that price it was a risk worth taking.
If i really get a brand new Maverick for 250$ i will be super happy, if i get a box of rocks i hope i can get my money back through paypal or my credit card company.
I admit the fact that the same...
It's been too dark and rainy for me to take good pics, when we next get sun i'll take a few.
Unfortunately i don't have pics of it brand new out of the box to compare.
I literally made two giant stains on it 15 seconds after taking it out of the box and couldn't bring myself to photographing it...

How do you guys feel about getting this leather wet?
Basically i got the jacket, the first time i put it on i managed to make two water stains on it within seconds. (Beard was still wet from the shower...)
That made me go "screw it" and i decided to treat...
They are pockets, pocket bag is quite deep and allows the rear passenger to keep their hands warms whilst holding on to rider.
IMO a genius idea!
The earlier versions only had one on the left side and it was then called a map pocket.
I talked about that with the tannery, and to them it's about keeping it "all natural".
They don't see the point in creating veg tanned leather to then slather it in petroleum byproducts, to them it's the equivalent of making a sugar free cake and then covering it in a thick layer of sugar...
I have a couch made from veg tanned leather made by this tannery:

The only finish they put on it other than aniline dye is beef tallow. For the first few weeks the couch would sometimes seep a little when there where big changes in...
In these temperature range i wear my LW B-2.
It has a great alpaca lining, and is cut in a way that allows you to really layer with it.

I don't like BK, wouldn't buy from them.
IMO out of the BK and Eastman i would go eastman without hesitation, i have two of their jackets and they are great.
I had a disapointing experience with Norshor.
Mark was great to deal with from start to finish, the jacket wasn't great.
He made me a Tweedy Cossack, tried a new way of stitching the collar and he was not happy with the result.
He offered me the jacket at cost, but it had really messy stitching...
I have around 50 leather jackets and have seen it happen on a lot of different ones.
I think it's related to what the rain is like that day more than tannage, sometimes it's very visible sometimes not.
Either way it's really not something you shoudl be worrying about.
Unless you live in a place...
Also a fellow Belgian here.
I have had these stains happen too, they are nothing to worry about.
I first noticed them when i started using a spray bottle to break in my jackets, i would use tap water that was hard and the water droplets would leave white marks as they dried.
I started using...
