    It's been too dark and rainy for me to take good pics, when we next get sun i'll take a few. Unfortunately i don't have pics of it brand new out of the box to compare. I literally made two giant stains on it 15 seconds after taking it out of the box and couldn't bring myself to photographing it...

    They are pockets, pocket bag is quite deep and allows the rear passenger to keep their hands warms whilst holding on to rider. IMO a genius idea! The earlier versions only had one on the left side and it was then called a map pocket.
