There are many jackets i don't really wear, the Himel is no1 in that club, my Aero bootleggers are worn once or twice a year, i never wear my Schotts, really i usually wear LW or Vanson, to me the other ones are a collection and a way to compare jackets against each other. I do. If i had to pic one brand, i would say without a second thought that my favourite brand is LW. (Vanson close secound) Within all my LW, the one that i reach for most often is my J-23, it has all the things i want and find cool in a leather jacket, and it is the first one i got. I went all in, and also won this one, it was even cheaper than the black one: Same style of label, not sure what to think yet, if they are both real this was a great score, pretty much buy one get one free... Agreed, i have been googling "fake Vanson", "conterfeit Vanson" etc and cannot find any mention of fakes vansons anywhere online. If it was a common thing wouldn't we know more about it? The plot thickens... I was looking at pics, comparaing @JMax s Cheyenne and the Buyee one. Look at the two buttons either side of the front yoke seam, on J's they are evenly spaced above and below the yoke: Compare to the Buyee one, that are not evenly spaced either side of the yoke...- Carlos840

I sent the pics to Vanson, see what they say. Buyee holds the item for 30 days so i have time to sort it out. I also compared these pics to all my Vansons, also spread over three decades (90s, 2000s and 2010s) and none look similar. I never thought there was a market for fake Vansons...- Carlos840

Sorry, i got my Vanson names mixed up, it was indeed a Cheyenne! I just got the pics fron Buyee, i scored! This looks like a NOS jacket if i have ever seen one... Shipped from Japan for 300$ total. The seller still has many sizes, from 38 to 44.- Carlos840
