exactly
I've always wondered about exactly that: and really, if you had been to prison, you wouldn't advertise the fact if you had any hope of not returning there. Then again, in my experience, you can't tell young people anything, thay have to find it out the hard way.
like a bird
I dunno about their pants, but the Italians sure had some of the most stylish aircraft of WW2 that are forgotten in comparison to the better known spitfires etc.

I wonder, and let me say first that I reckon DC is the best Bond since Dalton, why they don't do a period Bond film instead of constantly updating the character and stories to contemporary situations, OK I know the old ones were exactly that, but still, with their budget, a vintage...
I won't put the link up to conform with policy, but there's a guy over here with a B3 coat on ebay for nearly $US5k...is this what they go for, it seems a lot to me, maybe the japanese market would wear it, but have prices gone that high?
Where indeed
I thought that Inuit was a general word for what we call eskimos, a term they in fact don't like, seeing it as a colonial generalisation. Living on the other side of the world I'm not an expert in such things, I'm relying on a lecture I once attended on the creation of Nunavut...
good old tony
Anthony Quinn, one actor with the most different racial roles I can think of, greek, mexican, romanian, and most far out..Eskimo, or Inuit as they prefer to be called, the 1960 film Savage Innocents featured both he and a Japanese actress as an inuit couple because at the time...
kakawho?
I've never heard of Kakadu Traders, and I've been wearing iconic Aussie clothing since a bloody long time before it became fashionable to do so by virtue of the fact that we once had a vibrant textile and footwear industry in this country, and that was all there was in the shops, from...
nono
Only a totally hip 18-yr old DJ could get away with wearing that ironically.
Once you have reached 40 it is impossible to wear any post-Rudi Gernreich garment with dignity. Unless you are Lenny Kravitz of course, he'd get away with that suit.
rubbish!
I have always used Global Priority Bags for anything I get shipped here from the US, and they are as cheap as $5, and if the one in question is the same size as my trenchcoat it might fit in a $9.50 one or the next size up which I think is $16, you have to be tough with US eBay...
The Sun
I grew up in a place with the worst skin cancer rates in the western world, so a hat was mandatory for anyone who wasn't a macho fool, and plenty of them are in the boneyard now, but stylistically....Robert Mitchum in Farewell My Lovely....nuff said. I think I was about 19 when it came...
Standard
Here's my "Bogie" trench coat, a Burberry, but I really prefer my Acquascutum as it is (and I've tested this in serious rain) just that much more waterproof.
I dunno how old it is, but it's in mint condition and cost me $100 in a retro store.
I tried this a few months ago to no avail, but why not give it another go...I have a good as new Cooper 36R A2 that i'm prepared to swap for a decent 7 1/8 Blue/grey or silver Fedora to go with my d/b blue suit...something in the range of a Dobbs or Mallory...any takers? postage should be in...
boo hoo
It's just that the colours are so perfect, but I suppose if I wanted to look like a country railway detective it would be nice. All I need is a railway watch (got that), and a Bucheimer sap (still searching).;)
(cops didn't carry guns in this country until the 70's)
