This is a size 40 in seal brown Victory capeskin and, having handled the leather, it's very nice indeed...

I don't disagree with the principle and welcome a wider palette, but inevitably as one gets older a solid, bold colour (in a daily wear jacket) simply makes the wearer look like a cartoon character or, worse IMHO, mutton dressed as lamb.
