Cal-Leathers Shop Visit, Ventura CA.
yep, shout out to Gwen. I'm bringing her 2 or 3 jackets next week for some zipper replacements and other touch ups. She did a great job with my Cal saving the Talon head side and only needing to replace the male side after finding a perfect match with the teeth.- TooManyHatsOnlyOneHead

Gap Leather Trucker 42-44ish
Testing the interest on this as I know there's some fans of this particular line. 1990's Gap. It's hard to describe the color, but a cross between a dark tan with some notes of russet. What are important things to look for when evaluating the condition of a used jacket?
not related to quality, but obviously if the jacket don't fit, don't matter how nice it is. Ask for measurements and pics of those measurements. P2P, Shoulder, Bottom Hem, Sleeve Length, Sleeve Width, Back Length. Don't go with it's a Large or a standard fill in the number. It means zero.- TooManyHatsOnlyOneHead

On a Schott roll lately. They certainly fit better the older back you go. 641xx. This thing exceeds expectations. Longer sleeves would have been nice, but it's based on the vintage Beck design. I guess people back then were skinnier with shorter arms.- TooManyHatsOnlyOneHead

Is this patina or something sinister
in the stitch line makes sense obviously. The puncture is revealing the leather underneath. On my FL teacore Route 66 I noticed the other day this glorious chain of brown peeking through along the perfectly straight line of stitches.
