I just purchased one of these from another lounger and it is awesome. highly recommend. The quilting needs some break in to lay flatter, but jacket is gorgeous, leather insane. At this price, if it was another color, I would buy it myself.
Next time I go to the Cal shop and if Gwen is there, I'll ask her. Her dad might know too.
I think the info about it being a former employee came from someone else. But makes sense.
I'm pretty sure I posted a suede one as well, maybe last week. Although, who knows, might have been something else LOL
edit: never mind, think it was leather as well.
Pretty sure someone was looking for one of these:

@Robbie79 here is my vintage 618. Probably my shortest jacket and at my max of how short I would go. It's definitely not an every day one jacket fit all scenarios, but certainly cool for different situations.
With the belt though, I was having doubts. So I think is much better now.
nice. adding you now. I got my account going finally few months ago. Keeping it chill. Mix of food, jackets, fun stuff. Trying not to get sucked into the rabbit hole LOL.
these are nice. I've also seen those Real McCoy x Harley Davidson collabs on Buyee but they're always sub size 40. I'd pull the trigger on one of those if I ever saw. They're usually in the sub $700 range too.
Schott has a model Per 28 I'm really really really looking into. It's not full...
on the short side, but not too short. Since no jacket belt, you can pull off. If it had the belt, I would say is questionable.
My C2 hits me there and I like it. My vintage 618 also hits about there and it has a belt, although not as beefy as the newer Schott models. After long...
yeah, I agree with this. Obenauf more of a sealer. you need like an oil if you want darker. I know there's mixed opinion about coconut oil, but that definitely darkens. You can also try almond oil. Most conditioners I've tried in the past will darken, but then it's a question of if they...
Is the jacket so unique you're willing to spend money to alter it? If not, sell it and start over. If you got for great price, someone else should buy it around similar amount. And assuming it's a typical style (racer, cross zip, half belt, etc.) you'll have thousands of choices to try again...
the sleeves definitely seem super short. Wonder if it was tailored. The price is almost at a too good to be true type scenario, so maybe caveat emptor.
someone in Europe by this please. And let me live vicariously through you. Such cool hardware:
