Welcome to the forum Forrest. I do like halfbelts and yours is a beauty. It's not often you see one of that age in such great condition - looks hardly worn at all, almost as if it's been in storage for 50 years or more. A great fit too! Nice find, enjoy!
Cheers
It's good to see leather jackets from other manufacturers - it looks very well made indeed. Would love to see it again when it's broken in. Many congrats and enjoy!
Welcome to the form oldcrow and congratulations on a beautiful Highwayman. Enjoy the break in period and start saving - these leathers can become addictive!
Cheers
Hi Ted - It's a personnel preference, but I would go with FQHH over oil pull every time. As hides go, Aero's brown heavy front quarter horse is the 'Fido's gonads' :)
Hello Rudie and welcome to the forum. Your jacket sounds good but I would be very interested to hear what Aero say about changing the arm design. Most Aero patterns tend to have low armholes and quite full upper arms and I was always under the impression they couldn't change that. Could you...
Great jacket Dav, the style suits you and the fit is spot on. I've only ever held a sample of Aero's heavy steer, but I was shocked at the weight and thickness of it. A long style like the Cheyenne must have some serious heft to it - it must feel like you're stepping into suitcase! Truly a...
That's a great looking jacket, I don't think I've seen one before - similar to the Highwayman but definitely different. Love the overall design of it and the color of the hide is stunning. Also, a perfect fit - very, very nice indeed!
Thanks for sharing.
Mr Peacot is correct and here is the proof:

The main problem with this particular hide was that if you got a panel where the horn was then you had a rather unsightly hole showing ;)
Hello Navin - The buttons on your jacket look fine to me, I doubt if anyone would even notice the difference in the two types. Glad Aero looked after you so well - they are a top quality company and service like that shows it.
Sorry to hear of your health problems - hope you are soon in the...
I think this might be the tutorial thread:

Hello Alladin and welcome to the forum. Before you go ahead and order a leather jacket, I would highly recommend you email Amanda at Aero and ask her to send you some samples. There is no substitute for handling and smelling the different hides - I would definitely try and get hold of the heavy...
Very nice indeed - I do love halfbelts. The jacket looks almost fresh out the box to me - maybe tried on, but not much more than that. Look forward to seeing the pics.
Cheers
