The Schott multi panel is very similar - and they used Talon zips. Some years ago I asked Gail at Schott if she knew why the styles were so alike - she didn't know but did say that Schott Europe had re-released the style in the 90's for a short period and they sometimes come up on eBay.
A friend has just bought an Aero Highwayman with this label - I haven't seen this type before and I'm assuming it's quite old? Can anyone help me to date it? Cheers

I've just had a quick look on eBay and noticed significant variation on the pit to pit measurements of a couple of 46" Cooper A2s - 4" in fact. I'm sure this can't be down to the lack of measuring skills of the sellers. It's either a manufacturing error or more likely a consequence of 'vanity...
I saw this on eBay at £25 B.I.N and couldn't resist -the pics showed a mid toffee colour and so I thought I might use it as a pattern for my first attempt at jacket making, but was pleasantly surprised when it arrived as its a much nicer seal brown - Ok it's a mall fashion jacket by 'Religion'...
Really pleased with it at £265 -best offer on eBay last week - described as a Schott Elvis biker jacket. Clear case of 'cosmic ordering' as I'd decided I needed a horsehide d pocket only a few days before and this was on eBay UK so no nasty import taxes or Parcelforce 'handling fees'.
This afternoon was 7.5 degrees C and no rain, so I was able to wear my latest buy, a 611h Schott 'D pocket' from 1994/5 - brass hardware and beautifully softened horsehide. I've always wanted a d pocket biker jacket and now this is one of my favourite jackets
That chest measurement seems a bit small for a 42". It should be in the low 20's? Beautiful looking jacket - sad that I'm a 44" chest (and I've just bought a Schott D pocket).
