Have a great Saturday,

Thanks Dale. I'll agree that Eric has been tearing it up. Bummer that you are in cactus weather down there. We just came through a stretch of extremely humid and hot weather there, but now it seems to have finally decided it's fall. Hopefully it will spread down your way soon.
Thanks,
Michael
Thanks Gamma68. This is certainly the brightest of my many HT jackets. I think it's from the 60s and is something I just found today. And speaking of HT, the rainy day forecast for tomorrow might make it a good day to unload a tote full of winter tweeds and refill it with summer linens and...
Thanks Terry. I always enjoy your posts of your great, great jackets. Though today your photo isn't showing on my computer. Don't know why.
If you want to get more daring with your fashion choices you could go with some vintage Harris Tweed.

Congratulations on the loss. I took off just under 100 lbs about 4 yrs ago. Fortunately it was the loss that sparked my interest in clothes, so I just had to build a a new wardrobe and not dispose of an old one that i liked.
Good luck on your search.
Michael
You and me both, Charlie. Enjoy the season.
Thanks Steve. The Stetson dates from before 1917, I believe. The Dunn and Co Harris Tweed seems to be an older item as well.

Thanks H&R. It does have a nice darker shade to it. More so than showed in the...
Everybody has been putting up great ties lately. Good job.
Today for me it's a Wilson Brothers Faultless in Acetate

I swore off buying any more overcoats. That lasted until the first cool day. Ha ha.

More than a little wear and tear on this one. Made sometime in the 30s or 70s...
Some old Gap jacket today.

Had to go with a third throw on the headgear today. Stetson derby with the new Harris Tweed that I found at my favorite vintage store today.

Thanks Steve. The hat has a lot more hair than I do these days. The Polish cap was a good find. It's turned into my go to bicycling cap and I expect it will stay that way until fur cap weather hits.
Super Borsalino, Steve. And great coat as well, or is that a British Warm?
Looks great Fabio...
A very cool morning here. Long hair Charles Knox started the day.

Thanks H&R. I thought I remembered seeing you under one of these a few days back.
And there it is. I like the thin ribbon.
Thanks Stefan. I think there is a thread around here somewhere about Gordon hats.
Love that Habig. It's a gem. All are top drawer, but the like the 'burg.
Thanks,
Michael
After some extremely humid days in the upper 80s it's finally back to a steady diet of jacket weather here.
