I wonder if Raxon is in any way related to Rooster?

I liked them so much I had to buy all 4 pair they had. They are Army issue from sometime in the 60s. Thanks
They are rare around here.
Thanks D. The felt looks fabulous in the Cavanaugh. That was a big fungus. We thought it would weigh more, but 9.5 lbs is nothing to sneeze at, I guess...
Plain Jane wooly Rooster did some time out in public this morning

I'll be back in some falling leaves in a few minutes.
Have a good one,

Late photos today. Had to while away the morning sitting in a grand jury pool. Wormser will serve instead of me.

Thanks Stefan. There were lots of mushrooms found yesterday, but then there were around 30 people looking. My landlord and I were the only ones to score in the hen category.
Both very nice. Love the Borsalino liners. Too cool.
I scored a new pair of old tropical weight wool Army pants today...
A few more falling leaves today.

Big fan of tweed season here.
Have a good day,
Michael
It was darn nippy early this morning. Gave this 1949 model peacoat a chance to get some fresh air for the first time of the season.

I think there is some sort of mushroom foray this afternoon. May have to rethink my hat choice for...
Thanks Steve. Great looking liner in that bowler, by the way.
Thanks Red. It is pretty close to my idea of a perfect hat. Did I miss a medical report? How is your hand doing?
Thanks J. The jacket is a deerskin item from Mid Western Sports Togs in Berlin Wisconsin. It was one of those...
Thanks Doctor D. The only reason I bought it was because it was Crombie cloth. As you can maybe tell from the photos it's a particularly heavy wool. More hang than drape on this one. There is a fair amount of wear and tear on it, but it will probably find use at least a few times this...
