    Sentancing today UK time...I don't think AL will stop trading. The action is against WL not AL. Time will tell, will be interesting to see what happens.

    I like the whole shebang. I love the himel bros Canuk with leather trim....both very nice. I would be surprised if the McCoy was cheaper than a horse Aero though, which puts it in my too hard basket.

    The leather type/ quality is what really stuck out for me from day one. Some strange looking hides with very uninspired designs. The combination really put me off. Throw in some of their early sale jackets at£150-£250 and they didn't seem too high end or exclusive either.

    I would suggest the line about Aero emailing their customers etc was way out of bounds, might have had something to do with it. It would seem that AL seldom take the high road....

    I think they sometimes do a water treatment to pop the grain. I'm not sure if this is correct, I read on one of DD leather descriptions that he does something like that to one of his A2 leathers....

    I was under the impression when all of this kicked off with the joint statement by Aero and Horween that they ( horween) weren't going to business with WL/AL. Very surprised that they ended up selling Horweens range. I guess at the end of the day money talks.

    AdeeC in Australia he would probably get a $5 fine and a 6month good behaviour bond. No conviction recorded. It's getting crazy in Australia. Unless of course he was a bikie, then he would get the death penalty!

    That's a real shame mate. I hate the anti climax of something like that. A touch of crooked stitching or something would a hand made quirk you could live with, Idont know if I could cope with that. Not on a brand new custom job anyway.
