    Thx, photos all known...but not the ones sought after. Just compare breast pockets angle,and/or waist pockets location, and no slash pockets in those WW2 jackets... Guess the ELC Ostmann repro is a great jacket also pictured in the battle of britain movie from the 60ies...but no real ww2 pics...

    Here is one example , grey heated Reichs Defence jacket in leather. All connectors and wires present. Breast eagle in the pocket. Hartmann jacket of the same guy in the other photo. Hartmann jacket is for sale.

    100%agree. late in 1943 they issued a leather jacket in grey or Brown with a blue Velvet collar (which turned purple within the years ). Those jackets are know under "Reichs-Defence" jackets. Some were wired for electrical heating some not...same for matching leather channel Pants/trousers.

    Fair enough. However, only saw WW2 Luftwaffe private purchased jacket photos with Hartmann jackets. So far I newer saw any WW2 Luftwaffe photos with " Ostmann " like jackets. Happy to see photos of WW2 "Ostmann" jackets if any available.
