So trivial, yet it really ticks you off.

jakes, I likes ya, but I'm going to have to ignore the fact that you're an apple-head if we are to be friends. Android all the way.

It really is optimal for humans to eat meat. I just...can't right now.

I don't know. I'm pretty open, so I might have a conversation with a friend about a medical issue update, but not squicky things like those ladies were yelling. I will say I'm probably louder than I realize; my voice just carries anyway.

So trivial, yet it really ticks you off.

I have to admit I have a bluetooth because I have family and friends all over the country and I can't sit still for a phonecall. I'm always moving around.

So trivial, yet it really ticks you off.

Let me tell you my momma ain't kidding. When I was 13 I argued with her and I don't remember exactly what I said--except it was a dig at her bad marriage, maybe--and she was so angry that she literally chased me around the house on crutches (had snapped a tendon in her ankle). She was...

    Lost art of proper relaxation

Just like Meet Me in St. Louis. I love that scene. "Well, I'll bet there isn't another girl in St. Louis who's had a Yale man call her long-distance just to inquire about her health!"

    What's in your lunch box?

I'm watching I Love Lucy and wishing that drugstores still had lunch counters. Or, even better yet, that I could eat lunch at Woolworth's. I don't even know if it exists anymore!

    Oldest person you ever knew?

I forget how old she got to be (96, 97?), but I do know my mom's paternal grandmother was born in 1896. Her son (Mom's dad) died at 93, I think. We live a long time in this family, provided we have adequate health.
