    What's For Breakfast...

Oh, yeah. Nothing else gets things as crispy and light as frying in coconut oil. You have to get the refined, though. I've known people who used the virgin stuff and of course it made their food taste weird.

It's good for you, too. I actually prefer it over butter for eggs. And it makes a good replacement for hydrogenated shortening.

I'm still weird, yes. One of my friends describes me as "the cool kind of quirky." She says those types find each other and bond immediately. She's one of those, too.

So trivial, yet it really ticks you off.

Paying my health premium over the phone will not be fun tomorrow. I forgot to mail it in and the website doesn't work for me. Poorly designed payment sites are irritating because I don't have time to mess around with resetting passwords which then don't work. Last night I had to pick 10...

Awwww. So we used to find dead frogs and make little graves for them, with crosses and everything. We were weird kids.

So tired of setting my hair every night...

The humidity makes my set more pouffy or just revert to my natural curls, which are not vintage-looking. My solution is a low bun with finger waves. Or I just skip the vintage hair sometimes. Summer turns my hair into a beast that eats my head.

Ladies, what are you doing this evening?

I haven't crocheted anything in a while. I have a stack of sewing projects to do and can't find the time nor energy. I need another vacation.

So trivial, yet it really ticks you off.

I don't know why, but using an apple something-or-other is not intuitive for me. I have to use them at work and don't like that. I think it's because I learned tablet and cell phone technology on the android platform, so that's what my brain is most comfortable with. Also, there's something...

    What's for Dinner?

The best seafood I ever had was my mom's chowder. So many things in it, including lobster. Of course, the quart of heavy cream may have something to do with the deliciousness.

Those oysters look interesting. If I ever go back I'll probably start with seafood. I miss it sometimes. Don't remember ever having oysters, though. I liked clams and fried squid was one of my favorites, and shrimp. Like many kinds of fish. Every day I inch closer.
