Can't help you out with photos of both. I've had both but got rid of the Squatters due to the low crown height, too low for my taste.
Yours may vary though. If I was going for a grey colored squatter, it'd be the moonstone = GREAT color. IMHO
I've seen Camp Draft in the sweatbands of Imperial grade hats & Campdraft in Heritage grade.
The word is "campdraft" or "campdrafting" which is Australia's version of working cowhorse.
The only place I have seen Camp Draft as 2 words is the sweatband of my Imperial grade Akubras.
Like the pin on the Stratoliner Special Edition. Looks the same as the one on the Excellent Stratoliner.
Still pining for an open crown, Excellent Open Road....
My jackets are like my hats = a mixture of newly made, slightly used & vintage. I'm an off the rack size it seems.
I'd have more vintage if I could find them in the right size. Think I'm covered with newly made ones.
I use stretchers & band blocks with all my hats, even the customs. Sweat on the sweatband will make them draw some as the evaporation takes oils out of the leather. I have a couple of Hat Jacks as well as vintage hat stretchers. Stretching a tad is fine, going up a size can distort the brim but...
Your beard elongates your face, so more crown is needed to have symmetry above the eyes with what is below.
For me, brim width is based on your frame, like shoulder width. You can go with the smaller brims but I think the 2 3/8 is your size.
You'll find as your hat wearing increases, your brim...
I bought an XL Saddleback Classic in tobacco out of these Classifieds.
Doesn't seem to be size or color you are looking for.
Let me know if interested & what you're looking to spend...
I tweak all my hats especially factory creased cattleman hats. They look too sterile in that pressed-in state.
Mostly, I tighten the front pinch a bit & maybe raise the back some, more like the arena crease.
I have westerns in Montana slope (aka Gus), tycoon, cutter, arena, & adjusted...
Wearing them you won't know the difference because they'll both fit like they were made for the shape of your head because they are.
Feel, hand & finish of the beaver will be better but the rabbit will be very nice. Only better way for you to understand is to hold both in your hands.
Century is pure beaver. Gives Art a better start to an incredible finish. Suede is a different finish technique, a little more nap than standard. Art can do wonders even with bunny fur.
I've REALLY been enjoying the tartan lining that Carrie put in my Aero 50's halfbelt this winter so far.
Jacket fits better & is less scratchy than the original alpaca. Seems to be just as warm too....
