Really like this one, but I now have a Commando and my 118 are going to take up the cross zip slots. Trying to slim down to 12 "go to" jackets (LOL, as crazy as that sounds) for the next jacket season and start getting a ton of wears on everything to showcase them. Something has to go and this...
Schott has a few styles with the belt buckle snap and a few without. 118 has it, 613 does not. You can send to them though to have one added. It's pretty cheap. They have very few styles however with a full removable belt. Not sure if this is a style thing and/or cost. I think I mentioned...
you a 42 in 613 S/SH at 6'1 up to 200. But it might feel a tad short. No way you comfortably fit into a 40 unless all your weight is in your legs.
Other option I'd recommend is the 118 (assuming you don't need for riding) and get a 40. I have the 40 and it was a half size too big. It'll fit...
what's your height and weight? I'm 6'0 and in the 185-188 range most days. I'm in between sizes on most Schotts so I tended to buy the bigger size and either dealt with it or tried to do a minor shrink by getting jacket wet and wearing in the sun, etc. I tried on a 40 613SH and it fit...
been down this road. The 613 US is essentially the 613s in concept-- slimming down arms, lengthening, etc. Basically the Japanese requested it before Schott started making it for national market. There's a few subtle differences for instance the belt buckle is more octagon shape in the US vs...
words of wisdom right here. Also remember, that when you see modeled photos of what marketing people want us to see in ads, there's a lot of stuff going on off camera to make the jacket or whatever clothing look perfect. Stuff is being tucked in, pinched, taped, stretched, etc. Unless you go...
weekend bump.
Now that I sold my Schott, would love to get on a roll here and clear out a few. Trying to save for a higher end jacket. thanks for looking.
Probably a lot I could (as well as others) write about on our various fit journeys. But it is a personal taste. Just go and read Schott comments on various jackets. You'll see someone 6'1 220 and someone 5'6 160 mention how the same size is a "perfect" fit LOL. So it's not about the size...
To justify my insanity, I play a lot of games with my numbers. My total count right now is 26 including an Aero C3 vest. But I never use that number LOL for various reasons. About 9 jackets are too small for me or not up to my fit satisfaction, and/or are being reserved for my 2 sons when...
so nice. What's your height and weight and you think it's too tight or too loose? Aero sizing so crazy. I'm a 40 in Sheene and this looks smaller than mine LOL.
It's really a genius idea. Makes the pocket much more functional but still gives you that cool D pocket look.
I retook a couple photos as the pics last night were in crappy light. Here's a couple shots of the liner. Also, I remeasured the shoulder for someone. It's closer to 18.5. Really a...
More of an interest check than anything. I really like this one, but been thinking about selling a few lately to buy one of the higher end jackets like a RMC, etc. So let's see what happens.
Per 3 is very rare. Made a handful of years ago as a collab with Barneys NewYork. Unique style with...
ha ha. was coming here to post this same shot. Saw it on IG yesterday. Must say, it looks a heck of a lot better being worn than the stills. Really unique features. Wonder if it's comp weight?
it's probably a smaller size. I don't think he has the jacket zipped up on that ptp (really reverse ptp) pic he has. So there's probably an inch less or so in the actual measurement. Also the 18 shoulder is an indicator. I bet this is a size 40, vintage 40, so prob like a 38. Nice long...
For my tastes, it's close to perfect erroring on the side of a tad bit short and a tad bit tight. Basically, no room for any weight gain or layering. Ideal world, I'd go up a half size and add an inch to length. But like others have said, no guarantee a custom jacket will get you there...
