There's an original on their website in a 42" with a 26" back - might be the one their repro is based on?

If that's no good then keep checking out their pages and you'll probably find what you want. EBay sometimes turns up a bargain...
It's always worth reading the feedback of any seller. I've seen instances of Chinese vendors with high perfect postitive feedback which didn't stand up to close scrutiny. They were comprised of penny sales to buyers who were no longer members of eBay. Slightly off subject I'm annoyed that...
It might be a pva seal you know - Feibings sell a couple of products to seal leather after dyeing - both seem to be pva based - 'Bag Kote' and 'Resolene'. It's quite possible that their tannery has used a similar product. If it's not pva it's a white emulsion of some kind of 'plastic' in water...
Fit is a personal taste issue. My experience is that those who are uncertain about fit and ask for opinions will get a spectrum of opinions from - 'perfect' to too tight too long 'good fit for a flight jacket - they were designed snug for tight cockpits etc.etc. etc.

Mint Brooks Cafe Racer £28 from Cow Vintage I think that was the price / it was a while ago. They'd reduced the price that day owing to it not selling for £40 - unbelievable.
McRostie kilt belt I found in a charity shop for £5.00 - thank goodness I didn't have to pay the retail price. I swapped the ornate buckle for a simple brass one

If you are in the UK there's a good shop in Matlock that runs courses and sells practically anything you'll need to make stuff in leather. They are reputed to have supplied tools and leather to the armourers who made the props for Game of Thrones. My daughter took me on one of their 'gadget case...
I bought a buckle from Elliot Rhodes in Covent Garden the last time I was in London and made a simple black butt hide belt. I bought the strap and the poppers (plus tool) on eBay. I can change the buckle by unpopping the poppers. The buckle caught my eye as it is a similar design to those of...
