Hats and Drinks - A Match Made in Heaven

I've had the pumpkin ale, no thanks! I guess if you want peanut butter, eat it out of the jar. And wash it down with real stout! Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk

Light hat and dark beer. Peanut Butter Stout, I should have known better! It is not too bad, at 10% abv, but not something I will drink again. The Resistol Topeka is the choice for today. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk

I missed this before mentioning the cotter pin method. It seems correct that the pin would saw on the stitches. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk

Jack, I have seen cotter pins used to attach stampede strings without punching holes. Just push a cotter pin between the sweat and felt. Spread the pin inside, leaving the loops to attach the string. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk

The best tea kettle spout for steaming in my opinion. I've tried others, but this one worked the best for me. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk

No, I used a narrow, curved spout tea kettle that could penetrate just as well as the jiffy. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk

I used a tea kettle for years with good results. I use a jiffy steamer now. The only difference I see is the steamer starts producing steam much faster. There is also consistency of temperature and steam. Equal results with either, in my opinion. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk
