I’ve had Comets and AZ2 jackets. They tend to run small. I always had to order at least 1 size larger. Follow the measurements more than the tag label! Good luck.- Fiver64

HILLSIDE USA HEAVIEST LEATHER
I've had both Hillside and Fox Creek, in the Perfecto style cross zip, and IMHO Fox Creek fit better, had better feeling leather, wonderful drape and just was better quality. Aero Oddly Heavy Cordovan Bootlegger - Size 44
I actually prefer the look of the #10 zipper! The leather is tough as snot, so the heavier zipper gives it that extra sturdiness. If the sleeves were 1 inch longer it would be hanging in my closet! GLWS.- Fiver64

Digging around in old posts for size 44 bootleggers, I’ve found that most seem to have the 24” arms. Indeed odd. Wonder if it’s just part of design to have shorter sleeves. Otherwise that baby would fit me perfectly.- Fiver64
