I had a JL jacket I bought 2nd hand. Faultless. I had a new one is sent back as there was some wonky stitching and a bit of mismatching in the brown panels, ( some really light, some really dark) I don't know who made that one, I didn't check. I'm expecting a new jacket late next week, no idea...
My next one is going to be cow. Prob a CHP style. I just think for riding in, Langlitz does it well. I'm sure the aero horse is great on the road too. I just think Langlitz specialises in Functional, high quality mc jackets. Otherwise, send a few pics to Alan and go the over dye in cow.
Langlitz mate. If your going to ride in it, Langlitz. Aero or DD for a sexy fashion jacket. Langlitz to ride. The black goat rocks, it's made as a functional riding jacket. That's what I would be doing. A couple of nice Aero half belts or whatever, and a Langlitz to ride in. Alan does great...
Sounds great! The exchange absolutely Flogged me. From the time I got measurements etc in, it had gone from 56 pence to 44pence on payment day.
Next up is a teamster in seal Vincenzo or cordovan. Either way, I'm really looking forward to this.
I stayed with brown alpaca. I wanted to sew a tartan over the alpaca, but they don't do it anymore. I flirted with some tweed. I need it as a heavy winter jacket, so I needed something like alpaca etc. it was posted yesterday from Aero. I'm looking forward to it.
I think they are just about gone. I was just reading on selvedge style that they are on their last legs. Good riddance, I hope everyone gets their cash back.
That's right! I really love some of his designs, I would really like to see his russet/ brown horse in the flesh. I'm not sure if really like it. I'm sure it's quite nice. Certainly solid stuff
I went for darkest available brown fqhh. I've also added a 3 panel back peice a la Rockefella. I dislike the plain one peice backs on these jackets. It came out of left field for me. It was about 4-5 on my list. Then it just leapfrogged all of them after a few very chilly nights here. I'm really...
Mine changes reasonably regularly.
At this stage I'm a week or two away from receiving a Hercules, the one with the cord detail and 2 way pockets. I wanted a heavy duty foul weather jacket.
Next up is the Teamster, if my turn came up in spring instead of winter I would have ordered this first...
That looks fantastic. I'm just starting to appreciate the A-2 jackets. That had some really great details. I like the zipper. That's looks like a great jacket full stop.
I agree, it's getting used to the correct fit for each different style. I've had a few mc jackets that felt too short, when in reality, that's how they were supposed to fit. It's all up to you mate, you have to wear it. I contacted Those guys a few times as they had said they were going to...
