I
I'm sorry to hear that Speedy. I put a pretty scathing review on Yelp. They cannot alter or delete them. I would encourage anyone with similar experiences to do the same. Also, there some other good info on selvedge style about how to register a complaint with the better business team or...
They look great. What a good score. Maybe send Brian at Role Club and email regarding the Chips. He does an awesome job. It will cost you, but they will come out looking like a new pair of boots and you will have them for a few more years yet.
I agree mate, but I think the horse has bolted. They should have frozen the ordering months ago, even week on week off. It's a broken record with their promises, same old recycled rubbish time after time. Even if they do complete the orders in the next 60 days or whatever it is, they still...
It's the quick and the dead on that sale page. I saw a great pair of steel toe Jobmaster in black that would have been a great pick up for $238usd. Went and had a coffee with a mate, got home and they were gone. 45minutes from being advertised to being sold. I won't make the same mistake twice!
I'm watching with interest with what transpires in the next few weeks. That have stopped taking orders until they catch up, and aren't answering phones etc.
That thread is going to be longer than War and Peace. It's a great idea, but when you look at the sheer volume of unfulfilled orders it's completely mind boggling.
Cheers Dave, Im actually waiting on a jacket myself. It's a couple of weeks away. Looking forward to it. Next time I'm in melbourne I will definitely check those guys out.
Very cool mate. Do they much of a selection at Pickings and Parry? I'm in Canberra, but I try to get to Melbourne at least once a year? It would be handy to actually sight these things in real life and see some of the different leathers in the flesh.
I saw them at the time too. I went for a Dehen first, and planned to add a couple to my collection straight after the Dehen arrived. By that stage, they were all gone. I have added them go my list of "missed opportunities". That list is almost as long as my " I shouldn't have bought it on ebay...
I agree, once the correct measurements/ fit is nailed, it's hard to beat. It seems like such a versatile jacket too. Great for a variety of situations.
Ain't that the truth Adeec. Every now and then I find a cool old school shirt or something. Other than the Dehen sweaters, I don't really have any branded stuff anymore. The quality is dreadful, and it's usually pretty tacky. I'm waiting for the day that Harley's are made in China or India...
