My Nov 3 order finally shipped in its entirety. It has been sitting in the customs for a week, but should have it Monday-Wednesday.

I also got the emails for all orders, its nothing to worry about it seems. Very confusing tho.

For anyone in the unfortunate, but all too common it seems, position of having given money to Lawless Denim (now rebranding as ldandco: LD&CO American Heritage Clothier) without receiving the goods paid for there is a thread on the Selvedge Style board of members awaiting orders. You may want to add your order to the list as at least it helps show quite how much of a mess this all is - http://selvedgestyle.com/thread/1075/lawless-outstanding-orders-thread-instructions

That thread is going to be longer than War and Peace. It's a great idea, but when you look at the sheer volume of unfulfilled orders it's completely mind boggling.

I'm watching with interest with what transpires in the next few weeks. That have stopped taking orders until they catch up, and aren't answering phones etc.

If they have stopped taking orders for the time being, that's a positive step, one that that they should have taken a long time ago. Not answering the phone, though, that's rubbish.

I agree but what are they going to say if they do answer the phone? Your order is in production and will be with you in a few weeks.....

well, they could make it automatized:
press 1 to order
press 2 to complain
and put a real enthusiastic customer service at 1
and prerecorded sympathetic answer after a calculated long pause at the end of option 2
lol

I wonder what happened to the new factory and their off-the-rack line. Perhaps the public wasn't exactly beating down their doors for regular-priced jeans that just might never materialize?

And me, (more so as I still left a pair of chinos I ordered in there from my November order), thing is looking at how that thread is growing and their 'normal' production times, I can't see them catching up in six weeks, six months would probably be optimistic!

Fair point, though I'd have thought a recorded message explaining the situation would be better than just letting the phone ring out, as there's nothing more annoying than that for a customer.

I received an automated e-mail a week ago stating, in part:
"By now, most of you should have received your custom orders from last November's big bang, however, we are aware that there is a handful of you that have still yet to receive your products. If you are still waiting, we hope that the excitement and anticipation for the customized garment you had created last year has not yet worn off.
That being said, with the launch of our most recent ready-to-wear line produced out of our factory in Los Angeles, we wanted to inform you that anyone who is still waiting on their customized, made-to-order jean from us may, at any time, substitute their custom jean with one from our ready-to-wear line. This has and always will be an option. And, as a side note, our Phoenix factory has been and will continue to fulfill any remaining customized orders."

Guys - if you have an order, please take a minute to fill out the thread survey. We might be getting some traction with it - no guarantees, but worth the try.

That sounds ominous...

It’s been over a year & I still get notifications about this thread & the issues
some of you are having.

Reminds me of the fiasco a couple of years ago with a certain leather jacket maker !

My sincere sympathies & hope it’s resolved in a positive outcome for you guys .
