Don't think people from Georgia like to be thought of as Russian. They were at war with them a couple of years ago.
I've used Hide Food on my jackets for decades, and used it on my leather car seats too. It was made by Connolly's who supplied Rolls Royce with leather and rejuvenated RR...
A lot of people just don't know how to measure. If you want the chest measurement then just taking that of the front panels won't help much. The jacket has to be flattened, including the side gussets and the total pit to pit measured. Nice jacket BTW.
I used to buy a lot of cars at auctions at one time and the last cars in a batch of identical company cars being sold aways fetched the highest prices.
180 odd customers it seems. Not that bad when you consider how long they've been going. I don't know if the price reduction of the sale page stuff is a good sign for them or not.
Yes I got that email too. I just noticed that all those other addresses are there. Bit daft I should have thought. Is it just a mistake or did they mean to do it I wonder?
I bought a jacket off their sale page a couple of months ago in black goat hide, which was very nice BTW. So as a customer I got an email today to say that they are clearing their sale jackets for £275 a pop. Don't know how many sizes they have left but they seem to have a few Nebraskas at £250...
I got a good price on a trade in, and they sold it for almost what I paid for it new. Why not send some pictures and ask them what they'll give you against a new one? A lot depends on the condition.
I agree with the other poster and I've stretched wool jumpers like that. For a quicker fix you can wash it in cool water, then dry it between towels and place it flat and gently pull it out and weight it like that to dry. It will dry in the shape it's been stretched to.
Can't help thinking that he should have given the charity shop more than $17 for it when he realised what it was. They make good use of the money they earn for good causes.
I don't think anyone is saying there were no issue jackets. Quite clearly there were and I mentioned a couple. But I don't believe there were any issue jackets like these, the iconic so called Luftwaffe jackets of the early war years.
I don't believe there ever were any issue jackets like this, I think pilots bought their own. They started buying French motorcycle jackets when they occupied that country, and because they bought them from different places and also had them made to order they were mostly all a bit different...
I believe he started to write it during the first world war but given his profession he was well aware of the themes of Nordic mythology. Which Wagner of course also drew on.
