After watching Easy Virtue last night I have a new close second to the 1937 Cord in my favorite cars. The 1937 Frazer Nash BMW 328.
I know I'll never get to have one in this lifetime, but it is good to dream though. Maybe I can view one in person in this lifetime.
Cheers!

So, what I'm getting out of this article, and it is a no kidding moment, is that this monster is a complete nutter. He hates Western ideas and the values of democracy, yet he hates the idea of Muslims overrunning the country and...
Just a theory Woland, no offense to your country is meant by it. I don't condone any of his actions no matter what his reasoning. It is truly hard to really wrap ones mind around what this person has done. Yes, prison is prison, but for some it is better than living on the streets. Some folks...
And of course the idea that a person tries to take care of their appearance all of a sudden the primitive mind automatically goes into the knee jerk reaction of, "he's gay". It is not a new notion to this era either. Actors like Cary Grant got those accusations 70 years ago. Even in an age when...
It's funny. The ones that I find that harass others for being different, are, for the lack of a better word, primitive. It is their reptilian complex of their brains that give off the fight or flight attitude. Like most of ancient humanity, and some modern, if something is different, it confuses...
What makes me wonder is what his financial situations is. I'm guessing Norway doesn't have a death penalty, but instead incarcerates criminals of this magnitude for 21 years, and more if they deem it necessary, like if they thought he may still pose a threat. So a person like him knowing this...
I read that Amy Winehouse passed away yesterday. Not to sound callous or hard hearted, (it is a sad thing indeed when someone young dies), but it didn't surprise me. Knowing her history I'm guessing drug use, but that is just guessing. Shame though, she did have a good singing voice for the...
Funny thing is, Toby Jones is the actor that does the voice of Dobby the house elf in the Harry Potter films too. And recently he was in an episode of Doctor Who. So I was getting visuals, not of Truman Capote but of a little house elf. And of course he will also be in Tinker, Tailor, Soldier...
Finally got around to watching Easy Virtue (2009) this evening. It really has that Noel Coward and Preston Sturgis feel to it, and it should as it is based on a Noel Coward play after all. So nonchalant and full of quick wit. Sort of a dark British comedy. The butler is Chris Marshall who had...
Just got back from seeing Captan America. Wow, I think that this is the best one thus far in the Marvel Franchise introducing an Avenger. The costuming was fantastic, especially the civilian wear. The sets were outstanding. The New York Worlds Fair I thought was a nice touch too. Made me wish my...
Watched Kinsey (2004) with Liam Neesom last night. An interesting film to be sure. Thought the costuming was fantastic and I loved his array of bow ties that he wore. Would dig on finding some of that ilk.
On that note I chalk this one up to a thinking mans film with a great backdrop of I think...
