Just won this one. That should hold me for a little while.

Ah, I see. That is good to know. Well it will have an honorable place next to my Adam Premier for sure. I know that one was a little under sized for me when I first got it. A little stretching and it has fit perfectly ever since.
Thanks for the heads-up on that Brad.
Cheers!

This burgundy one just came in today. So far my favorite color wise. Fabric wise I think the blue one is right up there.
I think I'll have one more in a brown with red geometric pattern if I win it this afternoon. And then I think that will be it for a little while. At least until I spy...
Just received this ebay win today. It is in fantastic shape. I'm unsure of the age. The seller advertised it as 1930's. It is "The Longworth" created by Long's.
Any of the Homburg aficionados know any history of this brand of hat? Under the sweatband is the original price tag of...
Actually it doesn't sound half bad. Like it was said earlier you have to use good coffee. I may have to try it one afternoon with some Stumptown Hair Bender.
Cheers!

That one is exactly like my Pops lunch box. The only exception is the cartoons he painted on it.
Do you fit a thermos in it and if so what kind?
Cheers!

I think in grade school I had a Scooby-Doo lunch box and a Hong Kong Fuey one. They didn't last long so from around 3rd grade on it was brown bag lunches. made the brown bag last a long time too.
I've been using a cooler lunch bag for the past 10 years and I think I need to move to the vintage...
Won this one today on ebay.

And here are the ones that just arrived.
This one is a thinner variety of silk and a tad larger and holds a bow shape with a little stiffer inner lining.
This...
Patrick: On the Reenactment Forum that you belong to I had been a lurker & there was one thread of interest that you might want to post here. I think it was called Project Edelweiss, and it involved the GJ Edeweiss period hike and camping trip. All done in period gear & equipment. Found it quite...
I'm on the look out for one by either Aladdin/Stanley or Thermos that will fit in a vintage dome lunch box. Basically with cup and all it cannot be more than 9 3/4" tall. Maybe even one that is the red tartan plaid. I have a vintage dome lunchbox coming that I am going to refurbish for daily use...
I just purchased this one on ebay. An old Thermos dome top lunch box. Yeah it has a bunch of stuff on the outside but I think I can get that stuff off and repaint it. The inside looks pretty good and rust free. the attachments I think I can clean up with a little Brasso and steel wool...
It appears those folks were having a grand time and a memorable wedding party. Didn't appear that anyone was hurt either. My folks survived the depression but I don't think that they would be offended by it being called a hobo wedding. I know my Mom would have had fun with it. Of course what it...
You mean this one of course...
You might want to try this place. They have a 1950's section.
