Oobviously he understood the theory of jacket "relatively". The older and more wear it gets the cooler it looks. Maybe he discovered that too? Drapes not unlike an A-1 or early A-2.- AdeeC

New Bill Kelso model
Haven't have much to do with BK but I have two jackets made by Mark Fisher(NORSHOR). His jackets are at the top of the premier league of jackets and he is a perfect gentleman to communicate with. I particularly like his NS2 jacket.- AdeeC

Vintage Barbour International waxed cotton motorcycle jacket from 1954-1968
Nice jacket but may be better posting it in the outerwear section for discussion before putting it up for sale. Then more can be learn't about the jacket and you can work out a fair price you are looking for.- AdeeC

That is a great find. You should make a handsome profit selling it. I would get a competent repair done on the zipper and refresh the leather, perhaps with vaseline. Looks a little dry. Most of these old originals seem to come in smaller sizes from what I've seen..- AdeeC

$700 Horween Dublin Jacket -- Thoughts?
Looks like it was designed by someone who has little experience with leather jackets and tried to inject minimalist cool in his/her design but needs a couple of more tries to get the right mojo into the jacket. Fancy leather will not compensate for general blandness in this case.- AdeeC

Replacing knits on flight jackets...
The packaging of the Mash products is superb. Almost like gift packaging. Having bought both MASH and Ebay A2 knits, there is a difference. The Ebay knits are thicker and heavier and the MASH knits are more refined tighter looking which I prefer. Not saying one is better than the other but...- AdeeC

If you are looking for knits and have someone local to do the job, you could try MASH militaria from Japan. There is also a seller on EBay who sells them. Both are excellent quality. See links below. As yourself I own an original that had poor quality replacement knits which I replaced with...- AdeeC
