Stetson 1X Nutria... the store in Walla Walla took was sold and took on the Gardiner's name in 1910 (store photo below is 1926). I would estimate this hat somewhere between 1910 and 1920. Vintage horsehair band is my addition. -

From the photo, the sweatband imprint and construction look to me like a contemporary hat. I’m guessing the union imprint is after the Philadelphia factory closed though I don’t know the details of this timeline. -
