Lord Man,
I never applaud canned soup, I will however stand to my feet and clap for a nice home made soup.
I think there may be an accidental analogy in that?
Movie = Canned Soup
Theatre = Scratch Cooking.
(oh, and I don't applaud for film {unless the writer, director, producer or Best Boy...
I have a couple of hats without liners and have never had any problem with sweat marks on them.
A goodly % of Akubras are sans liner when purchased (cattleman and snowy river, their biggest sellers).
So liner removal is hardly problematic.
On a side note, one of my lids (probably 1960s)...
This might be my last post on this thread (it damn well should be).
but you said something relating to the 'rat pack, in particular, Sinatra' would be well received,
so here is my Sinatra Themed post.

and I will no doubt be unsatisfied at 40 (when I get there) but at the moment I am happily deluding myself that there is a logical conclusion to my hat buying.
Nothing so sophisticated, I'm afraid I just thought it was funny.

Name it the Hitler, I dare you!
Sure it might ruin your chances of selling very many...

Damn I crossed that one without even trying (and without knowing anything about them other than I liked them).

That said,
I can reccomend the current crop of...

Are you after a fedora style hat? because Akubra do make other hats in your size (for example the cattleman goes up to size 65).

He's holding a similar(ish) hat.
I will admit that I find inappropriate things to be funny.
But the idea of a hat called the Adolf amused me.
I must ask, could this be the first time Godwin's Law has applied to a thread in a hat related forum?
well,
this fedora wearer is more well known for his role in WWII,
but he was a soldier in the War to End all Wars too. No Idea when these photos were taken but probably during or just before the second.
I wonder if he picked it up off the streets at a book burning, where...
