Bamboo HD, Thanks for the compliments. Yes, the fly rods are made from Bamboo. A species that grows is a very tiny region in China, refered to as "Tonkin" Bamboo. There rods are Hexagonal in Geometry. Each section of the rod, IE: the butt section and the tip section [2 pc rod] have 6...- Cane Rod Maker

That's a really nice piece. What clay have you used for it? I'm guessing low fire glazes?? The colors are great. Did you do some airbrush work to the fish.... I dig the transparencey. [ I didn't realize until I looked again, WOOD....very nice use of the medium ]- Cane Rod Maker

The law.... I never take the blade out of the house because they are illegal, not to mention I would hate to lose it or drop it and crack the horn. I also store it open; I would think it preserves the spring. I'm not sure if it's illegal to own one though. Interesting, thing, I really don't...- Cane Rod Maker

This Switchblade is a heirloom. It's been in the family a long time. My Uncle who was in the Navy at the time brought it home for my dad as a gift. I'm guessing it is about 50 [correction..... Leader - Straight Razor A friend of mien had an Antique Shop; before she sold, she gave me this nice razor. I love the looks of it; the handle's color is rich, the inlays and some nice engraving finish off the fine look. The metal around the Logo is Blued or case hardened??
