Harrington Baracuta makers?
I did a search and found a few posts and it is clear the original Made in England G9 is the best but they are too expensive for this country boy. Are there others that can be had for cheaper that are almost as good? I saw a Van Heusen "tailored in Taiwan" with the same Baracuta name tag that...- Levallois

I appreciate the replies! As far as Famous and Barr's history I found this that contradicts Wiki: http://www.historyhappenedhere.org/details.php?id=63 which seems to suggest 1911 as the time they merged into the former Famous building at 6th and Washington. I'll do a little more research... -

Ok, I've been doing some reading of the "Mallory Mile" and other old hat threads here at the FL and I think my homburg (above) is a pre-1946 hat as it has the 1823 date on the top of the inside and on the sweat and not the Stetson 1817 date. The sweat is not readed which means possibly older... -
