I just opened two cartons at the office. It's a busy day, I won't have a chance to take pictures until tomorrow... but what an exhilarating Friday. The Gay Prince is a pretty boy... but that optimo panama from Kaufmann's is a museum piece. The straw is perfect and the weave finer than I can count. The sweat looked rough in the photos, but it is fully stitched, though too dry to turn out. Photos to follow over the weekend... just had to share the excitement of a good box opening. I know you'll understand...

With an Optimo as nice as that looks, you'll have to get a linen suit to wear it with this summer! I like Otimo's

Ditto. The seller gave me the inside dimensions of 8-1/4" x 6-3/4" before he gave it away. It was too big for me, but dang!

Not me, - only time I did that was when the seller was offering the hat locally and would cancel the auction--then I gave him more than he was selling the hat locally for. I wasn't even comfortable doing that.

Don't currently have a Vita-Felt(had a couple not in my size in passing).

One might easily become a junkie on that felt... but I can quite anytime I want. 8^D
