    Unmarked sports coat?

    I got this today and it doesn't have one tag on it. It's wool and medium thick. Why wouldn't there be any maker's tags, etc.? It that normal? I didn't pay alot for this so please tell me what you think. If it's a cheap coat from the 1950s then so be it? Thanks!

    I think that I knew that but wanted to find out if folks had multiple hats of these different colors, or if I'm the only one that seems to like them? Right now I have as many of the off-colored fedoras as I do the "normal" ones.

    What I like about this outfit is that it's with a sportcoat from the mid-1930s. My limited experience watching movies from that era was the impression that everybody wore some type of suit - you rarely see anyone in a sport coat.     4 to 1 still too much vermouth? My dad's "manhattans" would be to bring out the rye, vermouth and bitters. Then he's put the rye in a glass, show the glass of rye the bottle of vermouth and throw the bitters in the trash. Now that was a dry manhattan!
